2025-26 AGM Completed
The Fort McMurray Adult Hockey League (FMAHL) would like to thank all Team Representatives and league members who participated in the 2025–26 End of Season Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM provided an opportunity for league leadership and representatives to review the past season, discuss league operations, and begin preparations for the upcoming 2026–27 season. Several important topics were discussed throughout the meeting, including league finances, proposed bylaw adjustments, future league planning, and the continued growth of adult recreational hockey within Fort McMurray.
One of the major highlights of the meeting was the discussion surrounding the league’s official re-brand from the McMurray Gentlemen’s Hockey League (MGHL) to the Fort McMurray Adult Hockey League (FMAHL). League representatives also reviewed updates regarding the newly announced partnership with the Fort McMurray Women’s Hockey League (FMWHL) and the continued expansion of hockey opportunities within the community.
The AGM also provided Team Representatives the opportunity to bring forward additional feedback, ideas, and proposed changes for future seasons. The league appreciates the continued involvement and input from its member teams as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
The FMAHL would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to another successful AGM. The league looks forward to building on the momentum from this past season and continuing preparations for an exciting 2026–27 season.
